Pupil Leadership Team
We are extremely proud of our Pupil Leadership Team! These pupils successfully completed a rigorous interview process, which included submitting a formal letter of application and engaging in a comprehensive interview with our senior leadership team. As role models for their peers, they consistently embody our school values, consistently follow our school rules, and model exemplary green behaviour.
Their proactive approach in the various roles they have undertaken has led to significant positive changes within our school community. The Pupil Leadership Team takes great pride in caring for and looking after our school, ensuring that every initiative they partake in contributes to a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
A message from our Head Boy and Head Girl
We are proud to be part of Pupil Leadership Team, and we enjoy being leaders in our school community. To become pupil leaders, we had to write a letter of interest and complete an interview with the senior leadership team, which allowed us to demonstrate our commitment and enthusiasm for our roles. As part of the interview process for Head Boy and Girl we had to write and deliver a speech about our selves, our ambitions and our wishes for school.
As role models, we lead by modelling Green Behaviour and fulfilling our specific responsibilities. Some of these roles include caring for the environment, improving lunch times, and actively supporting fundraising for school charities. Additionally, we represent our school at events, including the Christmas and Easter Services held at St Michael's and All Angels Church, as well as contributing to our local community by delivering food to the food bank during the Harvest season.
As Head Boy and Head Girl, we lead the Pupil Leadership Team and assist the senior leadership team with their jobs as well as taking care of our wonderful school. One of our favourite jobs is greeting all of the school visitors and telling them what a wonderful place Button Lane is to be.
Together, we strive to make a positive impact and support our community within and beyond our school.
