Today we thought about the end of the school term and how there are only two days left before we finish for the summer.
We looked at the word 'end' and discussed which letters could be added to the word to make new words that were important for the end of the school year.
Ashton said 'Attend' - It's important we have good attendance so that we make friends and make progress
Some of the other suggestions were:
Friend - We will miss our friends over the summer but we may also make new friends
Mend - The end of the year is a time to mend any friendships that we have if things haven't been going so well.
Send - We wish our Year 6 luck as we send them onto high school
