Mr Rainey, our Chair of Governors joined the staff and children at Ghyll Head on Tuesday and Wednesday and Ms Roberts joined them on Wednesday. They are having a fantastic time and being kept very busy!
It's the middle of the week and the children have already taken part in so many activities - canoeing, zip wire, beach walks, caving and archery. They are being really tested to see how well they can work as a team pushing themselves to 'step out of the ordinary'.
The group of year 5 and 6 children are all fine and even enjoying the chores of sorting out the drying room, washing up and laying the table.
A particular favourite is the 'Alien game' which they played last night around the grounds by torchlight. When we left at 9pm there were lots of tired but happy children, hopefully about to settle down for a good nights sleep.
